A police investigation is ongoing after Georgia Perry was pushed to the ground in Sunderland city centre in an incident which led to her collarbone being ‘snapped in half’.
The family of the 22-year-old has now made a complaint to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) – organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry – regarding the incident.
The SIA say they are aware of the complaint.

They continued to hurl abuse at her while she was taken into an ambulance, concerned big sister Charlotte Perry told the Echo.
An SIA spokesman said: “We are sorry to hear of the incident where Georgia Perry suffered an injury on a night out.
“Should a licence-holder do anything that means they fail to comply with our licensing conditions we will investigate the matter.

Charlotte, who received a call in the early hours of Sunday, August 16, to say Georgia was in hospital, said: “She’s just absolutely terrified. She's a very small and petite – when she was pushed to the ground she was in agony straight away.
"It’s just awful that these people would do something like this. Georgia is very outgoing and would chat to anyone but she’s also quite anxious and wary of her surroundings.”
Police are investigating the incident and reviewing CCTV footage from the night.
