Durham Women held by battling London Bees
Durham recovered well after conceding a first-half own goal to lead in the second period thanks to a Beth Hepple penalty and a goal from substitute Mercy Darkoah.
But Wilson fired home with seven minutes remaining to extend the Bees’ unbeaten run to three matches at Northwood Park.

Durham had what they thought to be the equaliser nine minutes into the second half when Jordan Atkinson’s header from a corner was disallowed, but a minute later were level when the referee spotted a handball in the penalty area and Hepple smashed past Sophie Harris.
Durham then took the lead in the 78th minute through Darkoah’s excellent, instinctive first-time strike, low into the bottom left corner.
But the Bees refused to give up and seven minutes from time Jo Wilson fired Nikki Watts’s cross into the bottom corner to grab a point.
